WHAT IS THE PURPOSE OF PRAYER?

WHAT IS THE PURPOSE OF PRAYER? To develop a relationship, connection, or bond with God. When you pray, it is to extend yourself in connection with God. When we reach out to the source of all things and plug in, we are charged and mutually fed in the exchange. Prayers are meant to be heard and God responds in many ways, through thoughts, spiritual feelings, scripture, even actions of others, signs, and symbols. The interaction is reciprocated. We extend ourselves to God and He receives us. God extends Himself to us and we receive God. WHAT IS THE PURPOSE OF INTERFAITH PRAYER? To show communities a level of tolerance leading to peace between all religious and spiritual paths. Let us Praise the Name of God moving into the New Year!
